The ICH looks for intelligent, committed students who have a genuinely good-hearted motivation to benefit others. We are actively committed to diversity in our student community, and admit students without prejudice with regard to race, religion, national or ethnic origin, gender, or sexuality.
A new class for the Four Year Professional Training Program and One Year Certification Program begins every September. Students are admitted to the ICH on the basis of a written application, two references and a personal interview. Personal qualities required include a methodical and enthusiastic approach to study, a capacity for critical thinking, an open mind, and compassionate motivation. Since the course is college level study, Students must be capable of that level of work. Applicants must demonstrate an appropriate degree of maturity and personal stability as well as a keen desire to learn and a commitment to apply themselves in their academic and clinical studies.
Places are limited; therefore, applications should be submitted by the end of July. Late applications will be considered as space permits. In order to apply for enrollment, please follow the steps below:
1. Submit an Information Request Form so we can send you additional information and student application in the mail. You may also call our administrative office (415.551.1020) for more information, or to make an appointment to visit the school.
2. To apply to The ICH Four Year or One Year Program, download our Student Application. Complete it carefully and mail to:
2325 Third Street, Suite 426
San Francisco, Ca 94107
After receiving your written application, we will make an appointment for your admissions interview. Within two weeks of the interview, you will be notified whether or not you have been accepted into the program.
The purpose of the admissions process is to determine whether the ICH is the right place for the applicant. We are looking for students who will flourish in the school, make a contribution to the ICH community, and become excellent homoeopaths. Therefore, we urge applicants to take the time and care to write thorough responses to the application questions.
